There were nine mining (except oil and gas) businesses in Connecticut that had between 10 and 19 employees in 2016, according to County Business Patterns (CBP) statistics provided by the United States Census Bureau.

CBP data indicates that there are more establishments categorized as health care and social assistance businesses with between 10 and 19 employees in Connecticut than in any other category.
