Graduates earn 442 degrees from Connecticut College

About 28.7 percent of the 442 degrees and certificates handed out by the Connecticut College in 2016-17 were to students in Social Sciences programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in London conferred 127 bachelor's degrees in Social Sciences programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in Economics, General. Data shows the school gave out 64 bachelor's degrees in Economics, General, followed by 41 bachelor's degrees in Psychology, General and 32 bachelor's degrees in Neuroscience.

The college enrolled 1,865 students for 2016-17, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
